The Project

Project PLAC has three phases that involve the teachers, pupils, parents, and the community.

Phase 1 is the Project PLAC: Professional Learning Action Cell. This capacitates the teachers about the integration of GCED into their lessons. Master teachers and grade level chairmen were in support to make every lesson more meaningful.

Phase 2 of the Project PLAC is the Presentation of GCED-Lesson to Active Community of Learners. In this phase, the teachers were observed by their Master Teacher In-charge of the subject including the project proponent and some of the newly-hired teachers. Their learners were the direct recipients of this activity. They were engaged with the GCED values that would be of great help towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The last phase of Project PLAC, Promoting Love And Care, reveals the heart and soul of the project. It encourages the spirit of volunteerism among our stakeholders. In here, the external stakeholders like the Pedro Guevara Elementary Alumni Batch-71, Tzu Chi Taiwan Buddhist Foundation, Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), Army Reserved Command, and Barangay Officials joined the teachers, pupils, and parents of the school to extend its purpose to the school community.   Various projects were launched and were supported by the sponsors to make the face of the learner-recipients happier and to make the school community a more resilient, and safer place, a transformed community.
